A three-man appeal panel led by Justice Haruna Simon Tsammani, has dismissed a case brought by the sacked National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to stop the party from holding its convention.
Uche Secondus’ application, CA/PH/339/2021, was judged in a sitting in Port Harcourt, River State, to be a distraction aimed at stopping the convention from happening.
The PDP is to hold its convention to elect national official on October 30 and 31. The court has now given it a go ahead to do.
The judges also stated tat Prince Secondus did not take action to against his suspension on time, and now he can no longer parade himself as the chairman of Nigeria’s leading opposition party, The Glintstone can now confirm.
